It was just supposed to be for the night: Upcoming Book - Betting on One Night
Big News!
The upcoming book of Betting on One Night, the first book of my Black contemporary romance series, Lovely Us is in progress. I've been hard at work pushing through the draft, battling through moments of doubt and imposture syndrome to finish this story. Anytime I think my story couple is going one way, they continue to pull me in another. I'll have a picture of how the scene or chapter is supposed to go, only for it to end up with a completely different tone and vibe. But I'm steadily falling in love with both of my characters. Especially, the mmc Malik. I think many readers will as well.

Meet the couple
Chyna is confident, clever, observant, and fiercely independent. She’s someone who takes risks when it comes to gambling and anything related to the casino world. But when it comes to her personal life, she’s much more guarded. That’s one gamble she doesn’t take lightly.
Malik, on the other hand, is charismatic, adventurous, and a natural thrill-seeker. While he sometimes struggles with emotional indecision, he’s deeply protective of the people he cares about. Despite living life in the fast lane, he’s disciplined and far from reckless.
